Bruno Alexander delivers the breakout performance of the season as the principal protagonist—including the most poignant rendering of Tainted Love ever. The film oozes irony and a profound understanding of life’s big questions. You’ll laugh a lot, to be sure, but you’ll also be wondrously moved. Should Senta Berger and Michael Wittenborn not feature on your list of top ten actors yet, they certainly will once you’ve seen this movie.
